摘要
Abstract
The application of Buckling Restrained Braces ( "BRB" ) in the structural design of irregular concrete frame structures was presented in this paper. The public service center of Shanghai Hongqiao Transport Hub is a reinforced concrete structure. There is a conneeting structure at floor 6. 7, 8 and the roof, and the structure has an extremely irregular elevation. The twin towers are not symmetrical, and differ greatly in the rigidity, which makes the center of mass and the center of rigidity are not in coincidence. In the structural design, the sizes of the columns for the two towers are deliberately set to be different, and the BRBs were arranged in appropriate locations. These measures avoid the big eccentricity of the center of mass and rigidity of the structure. The BRBs could dissipate the seismic energy when the structure is under extremely-rare-happened earthquakes, to protect the beams and columns etc. This assures the object of seismic fortification "no collapse under big earthquake".关键词
