Serum and Polyp Tissue Fungi Specific IgE Level in Chronic Sinusitis and Polyp Patients

Abstract
Objective To investigate the role of fungi allergic reaction in the pathogenesis of chronic sinusitis and polyp, fungi specific IgE concentration of serum and polyps tissue was detected in chronic sinusitis with nasal polyp patients. Methods Fungi specific IgE concentration of serum and polyps tissue was detected in 64 cases of chronic sinusitis with nasal polyp patients and 30 cases of nasal septum deviation patients as control. Results There was statistically significant difference between the serum and polyps tissue fungi specific IgE concentration; fungi specific IgE concentration of polyp tissue was more sensitive than that of serum. Conclusion Fungi allergic reaction was related to the pathogenesis of nasal polyps. Detection of polyps tissue fungi specific IgE concentration can be used for the screen of fungi allergy in chronic sinusitis with nasal polyp.关键词
