摘要

Abstract

Recently nanoscale zero-valent iron has attracted much more attention in removal of environmental pollutants. The study on the enhancement of remediation ability of nanoscale zero-valent iron and its stability has become the hot topics in related researches. The research demonstrates that the catalysis of the second metal element of prepared bimetallics with nanoscale zero-valent iron would increase the degradation rate of pollutants and the generation rate of hydrogen,which resulted in enhancing the removal of pollutants. The stability of nanoscale zero-valent iron would be improved and the congregation of nanoscale zero-valent iron would be effectively inhibited by solid materials support or dispersion of surfactant and polyelectrolyte which would increase the degradation efficiency of pollutants. A summary of the progress of modification techniques of nanoscale zero-valent iron, and could provide a reference for future research.
