Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of additional long-handled hip replacement in treatment of elderly hip unstable intertrochanteric femoral fractures.Method From January 2006 to October 2009, 12 cases of unstable intertrochanteric femoral fracture patients were selected to carry the therapy of additional long-handled total hip replacement.Results 12 cases were followed for 6 months to 3 years, average was 23.5 months.The rusults were satisfied, the patients could early walk without pain of the hip joint and the joint function was good, the quality of life was improved significantly.Conclusion The effect of selective use of additional long-handled hip replacement is significant in the treatment of unstable intertrochanteric femur fractures in the elderly.关键词
