Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To observe the clinical efficacy of amiodarone in the treatment of ventricular arrhythmias in old patients. METHODS: From Jun. 2009 to Jun. 2010, 94 cases of ventricular arrhythmias were randomly divided into 2 groups. Control group with 47 cases was given normal therapy and observation group with 47 cases was treated with amiodarone on the basis of normal therapy. The clinical efficacy, heart rate, and PR interval were compared between 2 groups. RESULTS: The total effective rates of ventricular arrhythmias improvement and heart function improvement in observation group were significantly higher than that in control group(83.0％ vs. 63.8％, 76.6％ vs. 55.3％, P＜0.05). Compared with pre-treatment, heart rate were significantly decreased(P＜0.05) after treatment in observation group while there was no significant difference in control group(P＞0.05). Moreover, the level of heart rate in observation group were significantly lower than in control group, there was significant difference between 2 groups(P＜0.05). PR interval was prolonged, there was no significant difference in 2 groups before and after treatment (P＞0.05). There were no serious ADR in 2 groups. CONCLUSION: Amiodarone can improve the improvement rate of ventricular arrhythmias and heart function in old patients with ventricular arrhythmias, and decrease the heart rate significantly.关键词
