Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To alert clinicians pay attention to recurrent allergic reactions caused by Tetanus antitoxin injection.METHODS: 1 patient with left leg injury who suffered from recurrent allergic reactions induced by Tetanus antitoxin injection was reported and analyzed. RESULTS & CONCLUSION: There is no report about recurrent allergic reactions induced by Tetanus antitoxin injection. Clinical medical staff should be aware of the characteristics and pathogenesis of ADR induced by Tetanus antitoxin injection, master application pointer, adopt desensitization therapy for skin test-positive patients on the TAT and make observations and rescue preparation, or use human tetanus immune globulin (TIG) instead of TAT in order to avoid or reduce ADR.关键词
