摘要

Abstract

As an effective method to solve the problem in logging cable high-speed data transmission, OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) technology is currently being used for logging high-speed data transmission system. However, the logging cable channel impulse response has a longer tail (usually greater than the OFDM symbol cyclic prefix length), which will lead to severe inter sub-channel interference (ICI), thus affecting the transmission rate of OFDM systems. The channel impulse response is reduced by time domain equalizer (TEQ) so it is not exceed the length of the cyclic prefix, thereby the ICI is eliminated. This paper presents a TEQ which is suitable for DSP(Digital Signal Processing) software. The proposed TEQ can greatly improve the transmission rate of logging cable high-speed data transmission on the basis of OFDM technology.
