Abstract
Objective To explore factors of hypoglycemia of elderly patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus undergoing nasal feeding and to provide corresponding nursing measures. Methods Experiment group involved 15 elderly type 2 diabetes mellitus patients with hypoglycemia and control group consisted of 30 elderly patients without hypoglycemia. Dynamic blood glucose monitoring was performed in two groups. Results The differences between four monitored indicators showed statistical significance (P＜0.05 or P＜0.01). Conclusion In case of 2 h postprandial glucose less than 6.1 mmol/L, complicated with infections, combined use of more than six drugs, and hepatic and renal disfunction, hypoglycemia is more prone to occurring. Predictive nursing care is beneficial to the prevention of hypoglycemia.关键词
