Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of different ways in treating unstable distal radius fracture.Methods 92 cases ( 97 hands ) of unstable distal radius fractures were treated by closed reduction and splinting ( or resin splint ) or plaster external fixation.Kirschner wire fixation and limited internal fixation with plaster immobiliozation, and volar locking plate fixation or a combination of plaster immobilization.The 3 kinds of treatment methods were compared on effects.Results 92 cases followed up for 6 ～ 21 months.The excellent and good rate of 3 kinds methods were 88.6％ , 89.6％ , 87.5％ in A,B and C groups.No significant difference between 3 groups( P ＞0.05 ).Conclusions 3 kinds of treatment methods are simple.Satisfactory reduction and reliable fixation can be retained with early exercises.The 3 method are all effective in the treatment of unstable distal radius fractures.关键词
