Geo-environmental suitability assessment of industrial land in the Yangtze River Delta Economic Zone

Abstract
Based on a systematic analysis of geological conditions and geo - environmental problems in the Yangtze River Delta Economic Zone, the relationship between industrial land in this region and the geological environment had been examined in detail.The system of geo - environmental suitability assessment index for the industrial land was reasonably established.The weights of indexes were determined using the Analytic Hierarchy Process.The qualitative analysis and quantitative calculation method were adopted when the Weighted Average Composite Index method is used to evaluate the geological environment suitability of industrial land in this region.The results show that the area of suitable geological environment and less suitable areas for industrial land accounts for 59 ％ of the total land area of the Yangtze River Delta Economy Zone.关键词
