Abstract
Objective To investigate the protective effects of rosuvastatin on vascular endothelial cells in hyperlipidemia patients with diabetes. Methods 76 hyperlipidemia patients with diabetes were randomly divided into acarbose group(n=38,took acarbose 100 mg orally thrice a day) and rosuvastatin group(n=38, took rosuvastatin 20 mg orally once a day on the basis of administration of acarbose group). Both treatment course were 4 weeks. Levels of blood glucose, blood lipid, endothelin(ET), nitric oxide(NO), C reactive protein(CRP) and circulating endothelial cells (CEC) of patients were measured in the two groups before and after treatment. 38 healthy persons were selected as control for ET, NO,CRT and CEC detection. Results Levels of lood lipid,ET,NO,CRP and CEC of patients in acarbose group showed no significant difference between before and after treatment (P>0.05). Compared with treatment before, levels of total cholesterol(TC), low density lipoprotein(LDL), triacylglycerol(TG), ET, CRP and CEC of patients in rosuvastatin group decreased obviously after treatment(P<0.01), while levels of high density lipoprotein(HDL) and NO increased markedly(P<0.01, and they demonstrated significant difference when compared with those in acarbose group(P<0.01). Conclusion Rosuvastatin plays a protective role on vascular endothelial cells probably through regulating blood lipid,NO,ET levels and its anti inflammation mechanism.关键词
