Abstract
The development of GIS and database technique founded the basis for standardization of regional marine geological map production. However, the application of the these techniques remains unsatisfied so far. There is lack of a matured map production process for standardization and efficient map-making. Data reutilization is low since its low normalization level and unguaranteed quality. In order to standardize the marine geological survey map-making process and to satisfy the application requirements, it is proposed in this paper an integrated process for both regional marine geological map-making and database-building. By the means of database and GIS platform, the process will make it possible that the GIS geodatabase and the map will be produced together by the control of a series of related specifications. It will ensure a more efficient map-making and make the map more reliable and readable without the loss of data. The reutilization of map data will be accelerated.关键词
