Abstract

[ Objective ] The aim was to study preparation and application of polymeric aluminum ferric sulfate. [ Method ] Orthogonal experiment of three elements and three levels was used to prepare polymeric aluminum ferric sulfate ( PAFS), and the optimum synthesis conditions and treatment conditions from the removal efficiency of PAFS on the turbidity and color were analyzed, the performance of PAFS was also evaluated comparing the flocculation effect of ferric sulfate, aluminum sulfate and poly aluminum chloride. [ Result ] The results showed that the flocculants displayed floccuulation performance of the best when Fe/AI molar ratio was 3∶5, pH and curing temperature were 3.5 and 65℃,meanwhile, the rates of turbidity, decoloration and oil removal were 94.55%, 96% and 82.67%. And the optimum processing conditions were under the dosage of 140mg/L, the pH of raw water was 8, then the turbidity removal ratio was 95. 050%0. Under the same conditions, the flocculation of PAFS was better than the other three. [Conclusion] The study provided theoretical support for the preparation and application of the PAFS, and it was beneficial to the actual production and treatment of oily wastewater.
