Nonparametric Detectors Using Inverse-normal-scores Functions Modified Rank

Abstract
Two new nonparametne detectors named GSMR and MWMR based on modified rank test are proposed in this paper. The detectability of the two nonparametric detectors to tluctuating radar echo signals is analyzed by monte-carlo simulation, and compared with four classical nonparametric detectors such as generaliaed sign detector, mann-whitney detector, modified rank square detector and savage detector. GSMR and MWMR detector are achieved by designing the irverse-normal-score functions of the rank statistics. and the results of monte-carlo simulation show that the detectability of the new detectors is superior to their original ones.The new nonparametric detectors are CFAR( Constant False Alarm Rate) to the data from continuous CDF( Cumulative Distribution Function) and PDF( Probability Density Function) is symmetric about zero.关键词
