Design of Transfusion Monitoring System of Hospital Sickbeds
摘要
Abstract
Objective To solve the problem that nurses must be back and forth to ward every day for the transfusion
monitoring of patients. Methods Using chip technology, motor control and laser detection technology, the transfusion of
hospital sickbeds was monitored automatically. The data detected in real time was transferred to the host computer of
nursing station through RS 485, by which at the same time each sickbed could also be monitored. Results The host
computer of nursing station could control hundreds of sickbeds simultaneously with the real time transfusion status
displayed regularly. When an exception occured, both the host computer of nursing station and the slave computer of
sickbeds could sound the alarm with communication distance over 500 meters, which was of high reliability. Conclusion
Nurses on duty in the nursing station can monitor the transfusion status of all the sickbeds. No matter which sickbed occurs
exception, nurses can provide quick, accurate and timely treatment with the transfusion monitoring system. This system
reduces the labor intensity of nurses and also imprves patient satisfaction for nurses.
