摘要

Abstract

The foundry process of MW wind generator shaft was designed by UG modeling and finite element software ProCAST.The filling and solidification and temperature field were simulated and the shrinkage defect distribution was predicted.The simulation results show that the casting process that filling from the bottom, the heat riser and the chills located to the bottom can ensure the directional solidification of casting, then a MW wind generator shaft produced by casting can meet the required performance.
