V-EPC法制备SiC颗粒增强铸铁基表面复合材料
Preparation of SiC Particle Reinforced Iron-based Surface Composite Material by V-EPC Infiltration

Abstract
The iron-based surface composite reinforced by different size SiC particles were prepared by vacuum evaporative pattern casting (V-EPC). The results show that when SiC particle size is 560 μm, the iron-based surface composite reinforced by SiC particles has better surface composites quality, and the composite surface is flat. The composite layer thickness is about 3 mm. With the decrease of SiC particle size, the effect of infiltration is getting worse gradually, and when the SiC particle size is 180 μm, the composite layer on iron surface can not be prepared.关键词
