Chronic infection of duck hepatitis B virus resistant to lamivudine
摘要
Abstract
Objective To build and investigate the chronic infections of duck hepatitis B virus resistant to lamivudine. Methods Ducklings were infected with DHBV wild and its lamivudine-resistant strain. Serial serum viral loads were quantified during 70 days observation;Intrahepatic DHBV DNA and cccDNA were detected by Southern blot and histological changes were evaluated. Results The viral loads and persistent infection rate of wildtype group was greater than resistant. Expected DHBV replicative intermediates including cccDNA and mild inflammation existed. Conclusion The lamivudine-resisted DHBV could develope de novo chronic infection.关键词
