摘要

Abstract

The research selected A3-type and A1-type cytoplasmic sweet sorghum hybrids as material, to study their difference of biomass, brix, juice extraction and expected sugar yield using bagged and non-bagged treatments. The results showed that biomass,brix and total sugar yield of sterile A3 cytoplasmic hybrid increased significantly , although its juice extraction was decreased. So A3-type cytoplasmic sorghum hybrids can completely be used on bioenergy sweet sorghum production. It would provide a new approach to resolve the problems of A1-type cytoplasmic sweet sorghum hybrids,such as lodging, harvesting in different time and bird damage.
