Abstract
Objectives :To investigate the clinical value of uterine arterial embolization (UAE) in treatment of cesarean scar pregnancy (CSP). Methods: 46 cases of CSP treated by UAE were retrospectively enrolled in this study from Mar 2008 to Mar 2010 in Sichuan University Huaxi Second hospital. Results: UAE was effective in 45 patients, the total cure rate was 97.8％. After UAE, 36 patients had curettage and suction after UAE, 35 patients were no event after operation, only one patient had hysterectomy on the 22 day after UAE for massive vaginal bleeding. The other 10 patients did not receive further treatment. The serum β-HCG level dropped to normal about one month after UAE, also sonography showed normal pelvis. The common complications were fever( 19 patients) and pain (41 patients). Conclusions: The uterine arterial embolization is a safe and effective method to treat CSP.关键词
