Making the City Smarter
摘要
Abstract
The“digital city” of china, which started in the late 1990s, has made many achievements, but a few problems remain to be solved. With the rise, as well as the development and industrialization of a new generation of information technology such as internet of things and cloud computing, they provide new opportunities to solve the problem about “digital city”, and this lead to “smart city” proposed. “Digital city” must advance towards “smart city”, and between them there are some connection and difference, and the “smart city” is development of the “digital city”, which has different new features from “digital city”. Internet of things and cloud computing are the roots of the “smart city”. The application about “smart city” involves all aspects of city's operation, which fundamental purpose and task are to make the city smarter, which essential is to make people, as the main body of the city, are smarter.关键词
