Research progress on natural quorum sensing system inhibitors in bacterial
摘要
Abstract
The ability of bacteria to sense and respond to population density is termed cell-to-cell commumcation or quorum sensing system (QSS). And many bacterial physiological functions such as biofilm formation and virulence are regulated by QSS. QSS is seemed to be a novel target for some anfimicrobial drugs which can block reception of the cognate QSS signals in vivo and finally inducing chemical attenuation of pathogens. Recently,some researchers have found that some natural substances can interfere with the cycle of QSS. The natural inhibitors of QSS will be introduced in this view.关键词
