摘要

Abstract

Ti3AlC2 ceramics were fabricated by in-situ hot-pressed technique of TiC-Ti-Al system. The composition and microstructure of the products were investigated by XRD and SEM methods. The density and compression strength were also tested. The results show that after sintered at 1450 ℃ for 2 h, the product consists of layered Ti3AlC2 as the main phase and a little TiC particles, the density is 4.21 g/cm3,and the compression strength reaches to 270. 358 MPa.
