Abstract
The adopting of wet process of FGD ( flue gas desulfurization) bring challenges to anti-corrosion design of chimneys. In virtue of anti-corrosion, fiberglass reinforced plastic(FRP) materials can be used for chimney liners in coal-fired power plant. This paper expatiates on the state of application and standardization of FRP chimney at home and abroad, discusses the technical necessity and economic viability of adopting FRP chimney for coal-fired power plants with wet FGD in China, prospects the trend that FRP chimney will play important role in developing process of clean energy with the increasing of human knowledge on FRP materials and exploration and practice.关键词
