摘要

Abstract

In this paper, we analyze and design an uplink queue scheduling scheme for wireless network. We also present an uplink resource scheduling strategy based on queue length, and formulate its mathematical model which uses Markov-modulated Poisson process model. According to theoretical analysis on uplink resource scheduling, two performance indexes, delay and bandwidth utilization, are derived. We apply this strategy to IEEE 802.16d-based wireless network, both the numerical analysis and the simulation results demonstrate that the presented algorithm can optimize the allocation of uplink resources and realize the system required QoS (Quality of Service).
