Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the sonography features of dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans and improve diagnosis capability. Methods: The clinacal data of ten cases of histologically proved dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans were retrospectively reviewed. Results:Nine tumors localized in the dermis,one tumor in the breast. Gray scale sonography showed three patterns.Onion skin-like were found in 6 tumors. The average size was 41 mm. All masses were oval-shaped well defined with four lobulated. The internal echogenecity was inhomogeneous with hypoechoic areas and wide hyperechoic bands. Homogeneous echogenicity were found in 3 tumors. The average size was 17 mm. All masses were oval-shaped well defined and hypoechoic. Mixed echogenicity was found in one tumor and the size was 170 mm. The internal echogenicity was heterogeneous with hypoechoic and hyperechoic areas. Blood flow signal was not seen in the smallest two tumors,and scattered areas of hypervascularity were seen in the other eight tumors. The average resistive index was 0.57. Conclusions: The sonographic appearances of dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans are characteristic,and it is helpful for the diagnosis of dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans.关键词
