Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the effect of improved outpatient prescription evaluation system of our hospital and to improve the level of rational drug use in the clinic. METHODS: On Prescriptions Management and Management Standards of Hospital Prescription Evaluation, a total of 14 190 prescriptions were collected from our hospital during Jun.--Aug. of 2010 to fill in the table of irrational drug use and prescription evaluation tablet. Those prescriptions were analyzed in respect of basic prescription index, type of irrational prescription and its ratio, irrational use of antibacterial. RESULTS: Average type of drugs in each prescription of our hospital in Jun.-Aug. were 2.7, 2.2, 2.1 respectively (3.1 before improvement). The proportions of irrational prescription were 56.74％, 35.09％ and 24.22％ (57.43％ before improvement). The proportions of prescriptions of irrational use of antibacterial decreased from 31.46％ in the first half year to below 10％ in August. CONCLUSION: The improvement of prescription evaluation system achieves initial success. However, irrational prescriptions still take up the great proportion and there still are problems in the utilization of antibacterial.关键词
