摘要

Abstract

Mercury pollution in coal-fired flue gas is thought to be another big pollution problem. The research progress of mercury emission control is summarized. Currently many strategies for mercury control are being investigated, and wet scrubbers and dry injection of a sorbent, such as activated carbon into the flue gas are the most promising technologies. But there is still no single best technology that can be broadly applied. Several new mercury control technologies are introduced and their application prospects are discussed.
