Abstract
Objective To evaluate the variations of lymphocyte subsets before and after chemotherapy in patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Methods Lymphocyte subsets were determined by flow cytometry in 47 healthy controls and 76 patients with NSCLC before and after chemotherapy. Results Compared with the control group, the mean values of CD3 +, CD4 +, NK and CD4 +/CD8 + ratio were significantly decreased ,and the mean value of CD8 + was significantly increase ( P ＜ 0.05 ) in patients with NSCLC. The values of CD3 +, CD4 +, NK and CD4 +/CD8 + of NSCLC patients were increased after chemotherapy ( P ＜ 0.05 ), but there were no changes in CD8 + percentages ( P ＞ 0.05). Conclusion The immunological status is correlated with the progression and clinical stage of NSCLC and chemotherapy may improve immunological response of patients.关键词
