Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To study the effects of total flavonoids of Drynaria fortunei and icariin (ICA) on the proliferation and alkaline phosphatase (ALP) activity of human periodontal ligament cells (hPDLCs). METHODS: hPDLCs were cultured by tissue patch technique in vitro. The effects of single therapy of total flavonoids of D. fortunei and ICA and combined therapy on the proliferation of hPDLCs were determined by MTT assay. Enzyme kinetics method was used to observe the effects single therapy of total flavonoicls of D. fortunei and ICA and combined therapy on the ALP activity of hPDLCs were determined by enzyme kinetics method. RESULTS: Total flavonoids of D. fortunei, ICA and combined therapy could promote the proliferation and ALP activity of hPDLCs. Combined therapy of D. fortunei and ICA was better than D. fortunei and ICA alone. CONCLUSION: D.fortunei and ICA can be combined for therapy and play effect synergistically.关键词
