颈动脉粥样硬化斑块组织中ABCA1和MMP-9的表达
Expression of ABCA1 and MMP-9 in carotid atherosclerotic plaques tissue
摘要
Abstract
Aim: To investigate the expressions of ATP-binding cassette transporter Al ( ABCAI ) and matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9) in human carotid atherosclerotic plaques. Methods :36 cases of human carotid atherosclerotic plaque specimens and 16 specimens of patients with mesenteric artery (control group) were collected after operation. The carotid plaque specimens were divided into group Al (grade I ) ,group A2 (grade Ⅱ ), and group A3 (grade Ⅲ ) according to their histological grade. Results: transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) was used to detect the expression of ABCAI and MMP-9 mRNA ,And Western blot technique was used to detect the expression of ABCAI and MMP-9 proteins.The expressions of ABCAl and MMP-9 mRNA among 4 groups were different,there were obvious differences( F = 863. 954 and 717. 381 ,P ＜ 0. 001 ). The expressions of ABCAl and MMP-9 mRNA were higher in group A than that in group B and higher in group A3 than that in group Al. The expressions of ABCAI and MMP-9 protein among 4 groups were different,there were obvious differences( F = 360. 612 and 428. 910,P ＜ O. 001 ). The expressions of ABCAl protein were lower in group A than that in group B and lower in group A3 than that in group Al. The expressions of MMP-9 protein were higher in group A than that in group B and higher in group A3 than that in group Al. Conclusion:The changes of the expression levels of ABCAl and MMP-9 might play a key role in the pathogenesis of atherosclerosis.关键词
