摘要

Abstract

Four technologies for fuel ethanol production by fermentation of vegetable cellulosic material were summarized in this paper, including separate hydrolysis and fermentation (SHF), simultaneous saccharification fermentation (SSF), simultaneous saccharification and co-fermentation (SSCF) and consolidated bioprocessing (CBP), and the merits and drawbacks of them were compared at the same time.Furthermore, the research and development of cellulosic ethanol at home and abroad was sketched, and the development strategies for cellulosic ethanol in China in future were also proposed.
