Effects of Al on the oxidation behavior of Fe3Si based ordered alloys at 800 ℃
摘要
Abstract
Oxidation behavior of Al-alloyed Fe3Si based ordered alloys was studied in air at 800 ℃.The oxidation behavior of Al alloying Fe3Si based ordered alloys were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM) and electro-probe microanalyzer (EPMA). The resuits show that the addition of Al element can increase the oxidation resistance of Fe3 Si intermetallics at high temperature, the oxidizing dynamic curves are changed from parabola-line compound type to second-degree parabolic type, and oxidation weight gain decrease nearly an order of magnitude. The oxidation kinetics mechanism is mainly Al diffusion outward through sub-boundaries to form protective oxide films Al2 O3 which restrain the diffusion of Fe and Si outward. While the protection effect of Al2O3 is also affected by the phase structure of Al2O3, diffusing channel, etc.关键词
