摘要

Abstract

A WiMAX physical Layer model based on IEEE 802. 16e was set up with Simulink to estimate the channel characteristic of WiMAX-MIMO-OFDM system. An improved channel estimation method is proposed for fast-varying channel. The system crror rate performances of linear, Gauss and spline interpolations in the original and improved channel estimation algorithms in the case of different speeds of the receiver are compared. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can improve the system performance significantly when the moving speed is relatively high, and the spline interpolation method has the best BER/SNR performance but its complexity is high.
