Abstract
The impact tests of S355J2G3 had been conducted between room temperature and -60℃,and then the impact fractures and structures were analysed by scanning electron microscope(SEM) with energy despersive spectroscopy (EDX) and optical microscope.Impact toughnesses of S355J2G3 steel plate before and after the normalization were compared, and the effects of elongated sulfide inclusions and microstructural banding on the fracture behavior of the samples in the course of impacting were discussed.The results showed that the elongated sulfide inclusions and microstructural banding deteriorate the transverse impact toughness of the plate heavily.Normalization could improve the impact toughness of the plate in the transverse direction remarkably, but it had little effect in the longitudinal direction.关键词
