Abstract
Objective: To discuss the characteristics of parotid gland pleomorphic adenoma in MRI.Methods: The MRI characteristics of 66 cases were studied retrospectively, and correlated with the surgery and pathology findings.The age of 66 cases ranged from 16 to 79, with a mean of 56.8.The ratio of male to female was 0.7:1.Fifty-nine tumors locateel in the superficial lobe of the parotid gland, 2 in deep lobe, 5 in both superficial and deep lobes.Results: 63 cases showed low signal intensity on T1WI and high intensity on T2WI, and all 66 cases showed a strong homogeneous enhancement after administration of contrast medium.The accuracy of MRI in location and pathology were 98.3％ and 95.1％ respectively.Conclusion: There were certain MRI characteristics in pleomorphic adenoma.Dynamic MRI is valuable for reference.关键词
