Role of Krüppel-like factor 4 in the progress of tumors
摘要
Abstract
Krüppel-like factor 4 (KLF4) is a transcription factor with three zincfinger motifs,and is involves in signaling transduction in different cells. KLF4 participates in the regulation of gene transcription which is related to cell proliferation, differentiation and the generation of the inducible pluripotent stem cells. It has two-way functions of oncogene or tumor suppression, pro- or anti-inflammation.The expression of KLF4 is related to the prognosis of cancers and it may be a potential target for cancer therapy. This article will review its biological structure, functions, and the role in tumors.关键词
