Abstract
Transient ischemic attack (TIA) is an acute cerebrovascular incident, and is generally considered the best opportunity for early neuroprotective treatment against cerebral ischemia. This study retrospectively analyzed 80 patients with TIA (38 males and 42 females). Among 61 patients who received neuroprotective cerebrolysin treatment within 24 hours after TIA onset, 13 (21.31%)patients suffered subsequent strokes.
