摘要

Abstract

Dual response surface methodology has been proposed for helical spring robust design in order to decrease effect of manufacturing error. The response surface models of mean value and variance are constructed and optimum objective is minimum characteristic. Those are shown through experimental design. The factors of affecting spring quality are in turn coil diameter, spring diameter, spring turn. The factors of affecting spring quality variance are in turn spring diameter, coil diameter, spring mm. The relation between each factors and the corresponding response surface is line. In manufacturing process, the main factors of spring diameter and coil diameter need be ensured, and the unimportant factors precise of spring mm may be loosed. The optimum objective and little deviation are both ensured in the design method when there are uncertain factors. And robustness of helical spring is improved.
