Abstract
Objectives To understand the situation of teachers' awareness on children' s unintentional injuries and demand of related knowledge, and to explore effective intervention measures to prevent the injuries. Methods Four hundred teachers randomly selected in 38 kindergartens of Xicheng district were investigated on their awareness and demand. Results There were 80.8% teachers knowing how to deal with child unintentional injuries, 43.1% considering simulated on-site training as the best form. The incidence rate of unintentional injuries in one-storied house kindergarten was higher than that in storied building kindergarten, and the difference was statistically significant (X2= 12. 058 ,P < 0.001 ). Conclusion The security awareness of kindergarten faculty should be enforced, and intervention and field first aid ability on unintentional injuries should be improved. Strengthen the safety education for preschool children and improve their self-protection ability.关键词
