Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To study the regularity and the characteristics of adverse drug reactions (ADR) occurred in children.METHODS: A total of 241 ADR cases occurred in our hospital in 2009 were analyzed statistically in respect of patients' age and sex, route of administration, category of drug, causal relationship assessment and extent of ADR, organs and system involved in ADR and clinical manifestations, etc. RESULTS: Of 241 ADR cases, 61.83％ of them were male and 38.17％ female. Intravenous administration accounted for 93.36％; 37.76％ were caused by cephalosporin injection, followed by TCM injection of 26.97％. The main clinical manifestations of ADR were the lesions of skin and its appendants, which accounted for 73.20％. CONCLUSION: Antibiotics, TCM injection and intravenous dripping infusion are main reason for ADR. Great importance should be attached to clinical monitoring to ensure the safety of drug use.关键词
