Abstract
Objective: To accumulate data of the Uygur nationality of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region college students in physical anthropology and to provide facial morphology data for nationality cosmetology, human forensic medicine, reshaping surgery. Methods :Nasal and facial type of college students (99 males and 103 females) aged 18-22 years of the Uygur nationality were measured. The height-breadth and the breadth-depth of nose and morphological facial indice were calculated. Results: The data showed that there were obvious differences between male and female in all the indexes measured and calculated(P＜0.05 or 0.01). Most cases belonged to the hypereuryprosopy based on the morphological facial indice. Conclusion: The differences of nasal type and facial type are correlated with sex, age and nationality.关键词
