一种新型可调制的光子晶体环形腔滤波器
The modulation of a novel photonic crystal ring resonator filter

Abstract
Adding two scattering dielectric cylinders in a photonic crystal ring resonator, a new type of ring resonator filter is achieved, the transmission of which attains 90% and the bandwidth are relatively small. By taking two different measures,the filter wavelength and bandwidth are modulated arbitrarily: (1) With the scattering dielectric cylinder radius decreasing, the bandwidth of output wavelength from the load waveguide gets larger, while the wavelength bandwidth of the bus waveguide decreases; and when the radius increases, they change adversely. (2) Changing the radius of dielectric cylinder in the coupling region, the wavelength in the filter will change accordingly, and the amount of change was proportional to the radius of dielectric cylinder, and the transmission changes significantly. This may serve as the foundation for applications in the preparation of integrated photonic device.关键词
