摘要

Abstract

The progress of hydrogen generation-storage from aluminum hydrolysis as hydrogen sources for portable fuel cells was reviewed. The advantage, shortcoming and improvement of hydrolysis proteries were summarized, such as aluminum hydrolysis in alkali solution or aluminum alloys in water. The hydrolysis mechanism and activation mechanism of aluminum was also discussed in order to have a comprehensive knowledge of the hydrogen generation-storage method.
