Adaptive Convergence Scene-Based Nonuniformity Correction Algorithm

Abstract
Convergence speed is a key performance indicator in the scene-based nonuniformity correction (NUC) algorithms. In this study, we have developed a new algorithm named the adaptive convergence nonuniformity correction (AC NUC) algorithm, which utilizes the nonuniformity's high-space-frequency characteristic. Moreover, the coefficient controlling the convergence speed is improved from stationary to adaptive, which is an important improvement to the convergence speed and NUC effect. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm was verified by real infrared image sequences.关键词
