摘要

Abstract

The recent foundry technology, technological level and detection techniques of cast iron cylinder block were presented and analyzed in details in the paper. Besides, rapid development technology of cylinder block was also introduced briefly. The cast iron melting technique, the raw material control and the design of molding line and core-making machine were the primary technical gaps between China and abroad in production of cylinder block. Adopting high strength cast iron,using water cooled hot blast cupola with dust removing system as well as applying rapid development technique widely were the development trends of cast iron cylinder block. With the increased competitiveness and enhanced pro-environment consciousness, the rapid development technique and green casting technology will be developed greatly.
