摘要

Abstract

A high Cr cast iron/nodular iron compound roller has been manufactured by centrifugal composite casting.The effect of the austenitizing temperature on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the work surface of the compound roller has been described in this article.The result showed that with the increase of the quenching temperature from 900 ℃ to 1 000 ℃, the carbide morphology changed; the hardness first increased and later decreased; the impact toughness reduced marginally.The optimal integrated mechanical properties can be achieved at the temperature around 950 ℃.
