Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of cognitive behavioral intervention on rehabilitation of chronic schizophrenia patients. Methods 80 patients wers randomly divided into study group and control group. All the patients received a full course of antipsychotic treatment. The study group received additional cognitive behavioral therapy 3 weeks after antipsychotic treatment for 12 weeks and was followed up for one year after release from hospital with monthly cognitive behavioral intervention. The patients were assessed using PANSS, MRSS, ITAQ, and SDSS and the rehabilitation status was compared between the two groups. Results Before treatment, the total scores on PANSS, MRSS, SDSS, and ITAQ in the study group were (43.1 ± 3.1), (78.2 ± 18.2), (9.4 ± 2.1), and (7.3 ± 1.0), respectively; and those in the control group were (45.3 ± 4.1), (80.3 ± 15.8), (10.2 ± 3.2), and (5.2 ± 1.1). No statistical significances were found (P＞0.05). One year after treatment, the total scores on PANSS, MRSS, SDSS, and ITAQ in the study group were (38.2 ± 2.1), (62.7 ± 19.3), (6.2 ± 2.3), and (15.4 ± 5.1), respectively; and those in the control group were (44.2 ± 2.7), (76.0 ± 20.6), (9.2 ± 3.2), and (13.2 ± 3.9). There were significant differences between the two groups (P＜0.05). Conclusions Cognitive behavioral intervention plays a role in rehabilitation of chronic schizophrenia patients.关键词
