Abstract
Objective To explore nursing collaboration in different preparation methods of calcified root canals. Methods The data on 140 patients 167 teeth who received preparation of calcified root canals by EDTA, ultrasonic instrumentation, or dental surgical microscopy plus ultrasonic instrumentation were retrorespectively analyzed. Results 155 of 167 teeth (92.82％) were successfully prepared. An accidence of instruments breaking occurred in the process of treatment for 3 teeth. Apectomy or extraction was carried out in 12 unsuccessfully prepared teeth. Conclusions Logical preoperative nursing preparation, intraoperative nursing collaboration, and proper postoperative nursing is an important factor for the successful prepration of calcified root canals.关键词
