Abstract

Compared with RS232 bus.USB (universal serial bus) transfer rate can arrive at 480 Mbps.Therefore, many RS232 serial interface has been replaced by USB interface recently, but the RS232 serial interface is still reserved in some equipments, such as instruments, controllers and remote ternunals.A USB-RS232 converter card is designed and realized with CH341T chip to solve this conversion problem between USB and RS-232 bus.The principle of USB-RS232 converter card is discussed in this paper through studying the USB and RS232 protocol.USB-RS232 converter card can be connected with a temperature-humidity sensor through a RS232 interface.The testing result shows that USB-RS232 converter card runs normally, can display the temperature and humidity data correctly, and the design principle of USB-RS232 converter card is correct.
